  1. Just north of St. Helena in the small town of Angwin is one of Napa Valley’s best-kept secrets. Linda Falls is a short hike yet spectacular hike that delivers the unbelievable sight of water rushing over the 50-foot falls. It’s best to visit after it rains.

 

  1. Skyline Wilderness Park features over 25 miles of trails, including a 2.5 mile trail that leads to Lake Marie. On a clear day, you can spot San Francisco Bay, Mt. Tamalpais and Mt. Diablo from the trail. The daily visitor’s fee is $5 per vehicle.

 

  1. Westwood Hills Park in Napa features 3 miles of trails through beautiful groves of oak trees and grassy meadows, offering expansive views of Napa. The park also has benches and picnic tables near the parking lot and along the trails.
