Hollywood Studios

We consider every Walt Disney World theme park to be one of the best, but Hollywood Studios is making some new waves. Interactive rides, entertainment and activities galore are here, and with the latest pop culture phenomenons. Take a peek back at the classics like Toy Story with the grand opening of Toy Story Land. The kids will adore Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers and Toy Story Mania!

The latest and greatest in captivating Disney go-ers is Galaxy’s Edge, where guests can step into a galaxy far, far away. Check out the Star Wars experience with Jedi Training and Star Tours The Adventure Continues.

Of course, the legacy Hollywood Studios rides are still around, like the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Once you’ve seen it all here, take a monorail or tram ride to any one of the other Disney parks to experience even more.

Islands of Adventure

Joined with Universal Studios, Island of Adventure has even more thrill rides and rollercoasters that adults will enjoy. Go through the loops and hoops on The Incredible Hulk Coaster. If you love a good free-fall feeling, take to Doctor Doom’s Fearfall, which blasts you 185 feet into the sky. There are claims that it’s faster than a space shuttle.

Of course, the Harry Potter rides are nothing short of amazing. Follow Harry and friends on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey through Hogwarts castle. When you’re through with the activities at Islands of Adventure, take a tame trolley ride on the Hogwarts Express to Universal Studios.

Ocean Park

Heading to Hong Kong soon? You have to make time for visiting Ocean Park, one of the best theme parks in the world. Not only is Ocean Park packed with rides, there are also tons of activities and entertainment options. The kids will love the animal encounters with panda bears, koalas and arctic foxes.

Get on the Hair Raiser for a real thrillit doesn’t get its name for being tame. Riders dangle high above the South China Sea and plunge around 4G through the air. Or head to the Flash, which spins on a turnstile while also swinging you back-and-forth at top speed. Even the most hardcore visitors should be warned!

Have you tried a virtual reality ride yet? The Abyss-VR Space Voyage is like nothing you’ve seen before. Riders plunge 20 stories to the ground after only seconds of enjoying the view on the way up. You’ll feel like you’re actually on a mission to space while you smash asteroids and collect UFOs with a VR headset.

Lotte World

If you’ll be in Seoul, South Korea and miss the Disney magic, Lotte World makes for the perfect stand-in. Both indoors and outdoors and surrounding a fantastical castle, there is quite a bit to do here.

One of the most popular rides, Pharoah’s Fury is similar to Indiana Jones Adventure with its enhanced motion vehicle style. Bungee, the Gyro Swing and Gyro Drop are made just for those that love an intense 4G feeling.

Changzhou Dinosaur Park

For the dinosaur lovers and enthusiasts, the Changzhou Dinosaur Park in China is perfect for you. Comparable to Six Flags, Dinocanda is the most exciting rollercoaster the park offers. There is an entire museum dedicated just to fossils and research on the ancient beings.

Busch Gardens

Take a day trip from Orlando to Busch Gardens in Tampa for an all-in-one adventure. Busch Gardens has some of the most intense, thrill-seeking rides that you will ever find at the best theme parks in the world. Take to Cheetah Hunt, a triple-launch coaster that hurtles you as fast as the speed of a cheetah. Does the name Sheikra terrify you? This coaster will propel you 200 feet into the sky and drop at a 90-degree angle straight to the ground.

If rides aren’t your thing, we understand. Busch Gardens has even more to do just for tame guests. Get a glimpse at real-life rhinos, sloths, tigers and more. There are animal feeding opportunities and the change to see some animals up-close and personal.

Efteling

Located in the Netherlands, Efteling is the largest theme park in Holland with a large variety of attractions. Its theme surrounds all things medieval fantasy, with dragons, knights and even faeries. Fun fact: Tivoli Gardens is the second-oldest amusement park in the world. Being in Copenhagen, Denmark, Tivoli Gardens has experienced quite a bit of history. Parts have been destroyed by Nazi sympathizers in 1943, but has since been restructured and improved to outstanding feats.

Do you dare try out The Demon? Three loops and reaching a height to 28 meters, riders also put on a VR headset for an even more immersive experience. If you want to reach a new level of thrill and adrenaline, the Fatamorgana is a 45-meter tall tower with three rides in one. Seaworld Orlando

Seaworld has been considered one of the best theme parks in the world for a long time. Thrill-seekers in particular flock to Seaworld Orlando for the greatest classic rollercoasters. Experience all that the locals talk about on the Kraken. This floorless coaster reaches highway speeds and takes riders more than 150 feet into the air.

Europa Park
