Afternoon
Nashville is the hometown of hot chicken, so no trip is complete without trying this spicy staple. At Hattie B’s , a no-frills establishment that helped put hot chicken on the map, fiery food fans can dare to try the “Shut the Cluck Up”, the highest of the heat levels. Wash it down with sweet tea and a side of southern greens, pimento mac and cheese, or creamy coleslaw.

Evening
Head to the Parthenon in Centennial Park, a full-scale replica of ancient Greeces original temple. By day, it serves as an art museum – but visit in the evening to appreciate the impressive exterior architectural details all lit up.
